Step 3: Book your VFS / BLS / TLS appointment
Once your file is ready, book the biometric appointment on the visa centre's website for your chosen consulate. UK locations include London (Wandsworth, Victoria, Mayfair), Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham. Slots can be tight in summer — book 4–6 weeks ahead.

- Biometrics (fingerprints + photo) are taken for first-time applicants and every 59 months

Step 4: After submission

- Match every date. Flights, hotels, insurance, itinerary and cover letter must align exactly.
- Show stable funds. A 3-month trail beats a single large deposit.
